| Post-Conviction
Evaluation
Another valuable tool that the Johnson Law Group
offers its clients is our Evaluation process.
This again is a unique service offered by the
Johnson Law Group to ensure that everything has
been done or can be done in our client’s defense.
Unlike the Prefile Investigation process which
is pre-arrest, an evaluation is conducted in the
post-conviction stage. When you think of post-conviction,
most people think of an Appeal. However depending
on your case and many other factors, an appeal
may not be an option or the best option.
Some other examples of post-conviction options
in addition to an Appeal may include:
· Sentence Modification including probation,
house arrest, etc.
· Pardon/Executive Clemency
· Judicial Release
· Recent Supreme Court rulings which may effect
your case or sentence
When the Johnson Law Group conducts an Evaluation,
it is simply to help advise you what is your best
course of action to remedy your conviction. If
you have been convicted of a crime, you need an
experienced and aggressive attorney to review
your case. Johnson Law Group attorneys have argued
cases in many different jurisdictions including
State and US Supreme Courts. This experience and
knowledge is a valuable asset when our clients
are trying to modify their sentence or conviction.
An Evaluation generally does not require any
court appearances. It is a complete look and review
of your case by reviewing the court transcripts.
At Johnson Law Group, we handle each evaluation
almost as a research project, reviewing every
aspect of your case and sentencing to ensure nothing
was missed.
